An open conversation with teachers was organized by the AMANAT party. The event was attended by Speaker of the Mazhilis, Chairman of the AMANAT party Yerlan Koshanov, Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev, as well as teachers and deputies of all levels. The parties discussed topical issues of preschool, secondary, technical and vocational, inclusive and special, additional education.
Opening the meeting, Speaker of the Mazhilis, Chairman of the AMANAT party Yerlan Koshanov noted that traditionally, the education sector is always in the center of attention of the Head of State. In addition, it is teachers who are the mainstay and key link of AMANAT, since almost every third member of the party is a representative of the pedagogical sphere.
"Our President pays special attention to the teaching community. A vivid confirmation of this is that on the eve of the Republic Day, the Head of State awarded two teachers the title of "Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan". This is the first time in history that two teachers have received such a high award at once. I also want to draw attention to the law on the status of a teacher, which Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed at the beginning of his presidency. I would like to note that in many countries there is no such special law. All these are concrete examples of raising the status of a teacher in our society," he said.
In turn, the Minister of Education noted the importance of active joint work of the relevant department, the AMANAT party and the deputy corps for the high-quality fulfillment of the instructions of the Head of State.
"Over the past five years, the education system has undergone fundamental changes. They are aimed at improving the working conditions of teachers and creating a comfortable educational environment for children that promotes high-quality learning. The work of almost 600 thousand teachers is highly appreciated, and their support has become one of the priorities of state policy," Gani Beisembayev said.
Also on the site, the music teacher of the Zhambyl Humanitarian Higher College named after Abai Zabid Khudatayev, the Higher Polytechnic College of Aktobe Darkhan Shanbayev, the teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of Almaty Gulnaz Shami, the director of the gymnasium named after him shared their pedagogical experience. Abai of Karaganda, Zhadyr Baymoldina, history teacher of Uralsk, Alexander Myasnikov, teacher of NWP Petropavlovsk Darkhan Kospanov, mathematics teacher from Terenozek village of Kyzylorda region Zamanbek Amanbekov, biology teacher of Astana Ilyas Sakimov.
At the end of the meeting, a number of teachers were awarded departmental awards and a special badge "Ustaz – ult Aynasy" from the AMANAT party for merits in professional activities and significant contribution to public work.
