By decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Yerligi Ushin medal was posthumously awarded to the senior firefighter–rescuer of the fire department No. 24 of the Emergency Department of the Karaganda region, Khali Khairat, who died in the line of duty while extinguishing a fire.
The award was presented to the father of the deceased firefighter by Akim of the Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev. Colleagues and relatives of the firefighter-rescuer were present at the presentation of the state award.
We note the outstanding achievements of Khali Khairat, who, on the recommendation of the Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Genghis Arinov, was awarded the state award for courage, heroism and dedication.
"We thank the President of the country for the award to our hero. Khali Khairat has shown his dedication to the profession over the ten years of his service, and he has saved many lives. He will forever remain in our memory," said Margulan Amanbayev, head of the Emergency Department of the Karaganda region.
