On October 30, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Yerlan Nysanbayev held a regular meeting with the population at the Reception Center of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The reception of citizens was held in a mixed format, citizens who had made an appointment were personally heard, and applicants from all over the country were able to participate in videoconference mode.
Environmental issues were raised at the meeting with the head of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. The issues of illegal quarries in the territory of Almaty region, KOS – 1, 2 of Astana, MSW issues, inconsistency of established MSW with the actual norms and requirements of the Abai region, issues of forecasting natural disasters and adaptations to climate change, etc. were raised.
Such meetings are held on a systematic basis. Comprehensive answers, explanations and recommendations were given to all those who applied.
