Law and order: the fight against cybercrime was discussed at the forum in Astana

A forum of the Republican Youth Movement against fraud and on improving financial literacy was held in Astana with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alayaq.net . It was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, AFM RK, the banking sector and public organizations, as well as youth activists.
"One of the main goals of the forum is to promote the ideology of law and order, which the Head of State emphasized in his Message this year. Cybercrime is a serious threat to our society. It is law and order that guarantee the safety of every citizen of Kazakhstan. Therefore, we need effective control and prevention measures," Vice Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yevgeny Kochetov said at the meeting.
The dialogue platform gathered more than 20,000 participants. Students of universities of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of tax and financial investigation authorities of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan joined the event online. The participants discussed a strategy for working together to combat cybercrime and improve financial literacy.
The results of the project were also presented at the forum Alayaq.net . Since its launch, more than 120 Internet scams and fraudulent schemes have been exposed, including online casinos, and more than 125,000 people have been trained as part of a marathon to improve financial literacy.
At the end of the forum, an award ceremony was held for the best volunteers of the project Alayaq.net .
