Today, the Ministry of Culture and Information, together with the Ministry of Justice, held a meeting in Astana to prepare for the protection of the fourth periodic National report of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the Universal Periodic Review of Human Rights.
During the meeting, the participants heard reports and recommendations submitted by Kazakhstani NGOs, and expressed their willingness to continue discussing alternative reports.
Special attention was paid at the meeting to the importance of a systematic dialogue between civil society and government agencies.
