Akim of the East Kazakhstan region Yermek Kosherbayev met with a delegation of Samruk-Energy JSC under the leadership of Chairman of the Board Kairat Maksutov.
Issues related to the implementation of the project "Construction of a thermal power plant in Ust-Kamenogorsk" were discussed at the meeting. At the moment, a site has been identified for the construction of a thermal power plant. The parties discussed issues of determining land plots for the production infrastructure of the station (ash dump, water intake), design issues and obtaining initial data. The construction of an external infrastructure for the CHP was also discussed.
During the meeting, Samruk-Energy JSC informed about the progress of other investment projects being implemented in the region: the construction of the second stage of the Shulba HPP and the modernization of the 4th hydroelectric unit of the Ust-Kamenogorsk HPP.
Following the meeting, the parties jointly planned a number of events. In turn, the leadership of the region gave specific instructions to local executive bodies to provide all necessary support for the implementation of projects.
