Akim of the East Kazakhstan Region Yermek Kosherbaeva met with Viktor Nedovesov, a veteran of the energy industry, and Anatoly Chursin, a lecturer at the S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University, candidate of geographical sciences.

The participants discussed the environmental situation in Ust-Kamenogorsk, as well as the possibility of establishing maximum permissible concentrations of substances in the atmospheric air and the volume of emissions.

One of the important topics discussed was the introduction of new technologies into the operation of small boilers. In particular, fuel combustion in a fluidized bed. This allows for an efficient chemical reaction and heat transfer.

— In the future, we will be able to install block-modular boilers in the private sector and provide the population with heat. This will positively contribute to reducing harmful emissions of low-quality fuel, and to ensuring uninterrupted supply of private houses with heat and hot water, - said Yermek Kosherbaeva.

He also noted that new technologies will be tested in one of the boilers in the future. Viktor Nedovesov and Anatoly Chursin also presented the ecological and geographical atlas of the region. The regional akim instructed the Department of Digitization and Archives to digitize it and make it available not only to the residents of the region, but also to anyone interested in the environmental situation.
