On February 3, 2025, a student gathering was organized at the Kazakh-American Free University to form an ecological culture among young people. The event was held as part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" republican campaign and brought together students interested in environmental protection issues.
Tanir Yassa, head of the "Center for Environmental Development of Society" public foundation, explained the importance of raising the environmental awareness of young people and calling for environmental protection. During the meeting, a film dedicated to the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign and projects implemented in educational organizations in the region was shown.
The event made a significant contribution to the formation of students' environmental awareness. The participants of the gathering expressed their readiness to actively participate in various campaigns and contribute to improving the environmental situation in the region.
The organizers are confident that such events will not only increase environmental awareness, but also help form an active civic position among young people.
