In order to identify, prevent and carry out preventive work on violations, mass raids were carried out in computer clubs, cinemas, hostels, entertainment venues and other facilities in all districts of Astana, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
Local raids were held in the city as part of the implementation of the "Law and Order" measure. Employees of the Astana City Police Department and district akimats inspected computer clubs, cinemas, hostels, entertainment and other institutions in order to identify violations and carry out preventive work.
"In connection with the holding of the "Law and Order", "Safe City" and "Daily Life" public events in the city, raids were organized in local places. The personnel of the Police Department and district departments conducted inspections in a significant part of the capital, including the private sector, residential buildings, etc. territories. During the events, various measures were taken to prevent violations among residents and guests of the capital. A special unit - SOBR and the National Guard - were also involved in the operation,” said the Head of the Local Police Service of the Astana City Police Department, Police Colonel Yerzhan Adilbekov.
During the raids, about 800 various violations of public order were identified, including drinking alcoholic beverages in public places, smoking hookah, staying without registration at the place of residence, minors being left without legal representatives, etc.
All violators were brought to administrative responsibility in the form of fines and arrest. Raids are conducted regularly, with increased activity on weekends and holidays. It should be noted that, in coordination with the Astana city prosecutor's office, law enforcement and government agencies, together with members of the Commission on Women's Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the Astana city akimat and district akimats, raids to identify minors on city streets and entertainment venues at night are continuing.
