Today, January 31, the Governor of Mangystau region Nurdaulet Kilibay met with Hamdi Güvenç, a member of the Board of Directors of the large Turkish company “YDA Holding” and a member of the Board of Directors of “Aktau International Airport” JSC.

The meeting considered initiatives to conduct free internships for 100 students from Mangystau in Turkey in the field of tourism, send oncology specialists to advanced training courses, open the “Aktau - Abu Dhabi” flight, and develop the tourism potential of Mangystau.

In turn, Hamdi Güvenç expressed his readiness to increase the tourist attractiveness of the Mangystau region, as well as strengthen cooperation in the fields of education and healthcare. He noted that the Turkish side will provide free training to students undergoing internships and specialists going for advanced training.

The head of the region, Nurdaulet Kilybay, and the representative of Turkey agreed to work together to implement the proposed initiatives.

- We want to include teachers among the 100 students. We need to exchange experience and organize a new training process in the tourism sector. And we will send oncologists from among the doctors. Also, Mangystau is a region with great potential for tourism development. Our goal is to fully utilize this potential. In this regard, it is very important to implement joint projects with international partners, - said Nurdaulet Kilybay.
