The Memorandum of Intent was signed by the Minister of Digital Development and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhaslan Madiev, the management of AgiBot, ewpartners, and Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC at the Digital Almaty 2025 annual forum. As part of the partnership, AgiBot plans to create a joint venture for the production and implementation of robots and artificial intelligence solutions in Kazakhstan.

Founded in February 2023, AgiBot is engaged in the development and production of universal humanoid robots. AgiBot actively develops technologies in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics, developing robots for a wide range of applications, from industry to household tasks. In December 2024, the number of robots produced at the AgiBot enterprise in Shanghai reached 1,000 units.

It is worth noting that Kazakhstan is considered the first country in the region for localization of production and export of further developments. As part of the partnership, AgiBot, together with the Ministry of Digital Development and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is expected to launch a "data factory" for training robots and robotic systems.

This will allow us to open an enterprise in one of the most promising areas of mechanical engineering, as well as to increase our expertise and create a domestic center of competence in robotics,” - noted the Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiev.
