The meeting chaired by the city mayor Gabit Syzdykbekov summarized the work of the Department of the Agency for Protection and Development of Competition in Shymkent, current issues in the criminal enforcement system, and work on modernizing markets. The head of this department, E. Kosbayev, focused on the current issues in the industry, including the situation in the liquefied oil and gas market. The city mayor gave specific instructions to those responsible to improve the overall quality of work and prevent a shortage of liquid fuel.

The head of the Department of the Criminal Enforcement System for Shymkent and Turkestan region, S. Zhumagulov, reported on current issues in the industry. Proposals were discussed to revive work in this direction.

During the meeting, the head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development B. Azimberdiev shared the work on the modernization of the markets. There are 19 trading markets operating in the city. In accordance with the requirements of the Law "On Regulation of Trade Activities", 7 markets are included in the Roadmap for modernization. Of these, modernization work was completed in 3 markets last year. Modernization work on the remaining shopping centers is being carried out in stages. G. Abdimazhituly instructed the head of the department to restore order in the markets and supervise modernization measures in order to create favorable conditions for the population.
