The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan and IPrav LLP signed a memorandum of strategic partnership with developers of an AI-based mobile application for legal services.
The main goal of the partnership is to develop technological solutions that will allow citizens to receive qualified legal assistance quickly, efficiently and safely.
The partnership will include the development of AI technologies, educational initiatives, and research to identify urgent legal problems that the population needs.
"The head of state noted that each digital reform is a step towards more accessible justice, especially for people in remote regions where access to legal assistance is limited.
Therefore, our joint efforts in this direction will become an important part of increasing the availability of legal services for the population, reducing barriers, and accelerating the process of applying the law," said Vice Minister of Justice Bekbolat Moldabekov.
The cooperation is based on the integration of artificial intelligence solutions into the legal sphere. This opens up new opportunities for both users and professionals.
According to the memorandum, the Ministry of Justice will provide developers with access to the legal data necessary for the correct functioning of the application, while complying with the legislation on personal data protection. This will provide the population with fast and high-quality access to the functionality of the IPrav mobile application.
“For us, signing the memorandum is not only a new stage in the development of IPrav, but also a great opportunity. We see great potential in joining forces with the Ministry of Justice to create an accessible and modern legal system,” said Zhuldyz Yerzhanova, Director of IPrav LLP.
The cooperation is aimed at providing convenient and prompt access to legal assistance to citizens of Kazakhstan, especially citizens in rural and remote regions.
We set ourselves the task of turning technology into a bridge between the population and the legal system. Digitalization opens up new opportunities for increasing legal literacy and creating conditions where every resident of Kazakhstan, regardless of their place of residence, can receive assistance and protect their rights, said IPrav founder Kanysh Kenzhetayev.
It is also planned to implement joint innovative projects and pilot programs, hold training sessions for civil servants and employees of the ministry, which will allow them to increase their competence in using digital tools.
The IPrav mobile application is a new tool for searching for and receiving legal services online. The goal of the IT startup, developed by Kazakhstani specialists, is to provide access to qualified legal assistance to all citizens, regardless of their place of residence.
The application's feature is the built-in AI assistant - the Aiteke chatbot, which works on the principles of machine learning.
Currently, the virtual AI assistant is being trained to answer questions such as "How to protect yourself from fraudsters?", "What to do in case of a traffic accident?", "How to protect consumer rights?", "What happens if you don't pay a mortgage?", "What is the amount of the fine for various administrative offenses?", "How to register an inheritance?", "How to register a car?".
IPrav offers a clear, simple and convenient interface for all age groups. It provides an SOS function that allows you to contact a nearby lawyer for urgent action. This is especially convenient for residents of remote areas. The rating system of specialists ensures transparency of choice and a high level of service quality.
In the near future, it is planned to conduct open testing of the Aiteke bot through messengers to receive feedback from users and improve its functionality.
