During a working visit to Zhambyl region, Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerbol Taszhurekov held a meeting with agricultural producers, where they discussed topical issues of developing the region's agro-industrial complex.
The Vice Minister noted that the share of agriculture in the total regional output is about 11%. To increase this indicator, local farmers need to more actively use state support measures aimed at increasing labor productivity. These include the widespread introduction of agrotechnologies such as fertilizers, the use of high-quality seeds, modernization of machinery, and the intensive development of livestock farming.
This year, it is planned to allocate 700 billion tenge to finance spring sowing and harvesting. Acceptance of applications for financing began on November 1, and financing itself began on November 29.
“To address the issue of insufficient crediting of sowing work, the use of the Russian Federation guarantee mechanism “Damu” in the amount of 85% of the loan amount will continue. "200 billion tenge will be allocated for preferential leasing, which will allow updating the machinery and tractor fleet by more than 5 thousand units," said Erbol Taszhurekov.
In addition, the implementation of the program for financing large investment projects through the SPK continues, within the framework of which 8 billion tenge will be directed to the region for the implementation of 13 projects. Of these, 5 projects are for the construction of vegetable storage facilities, 4 projects for dairy farms, 2 projects for land irrigation and 1 project for the production of fish feed, as well as leasing agricultural animals and machinery, and the introduction of water-saving irrigation technologies.
All questions were answered comprehensively.
