The Ministry of Agriculture of the RK presented the achievements of digitalization of the agricultural sector at the Digital Almaty 2025 forum

A panel session on the topic “Digitalization is a factor in increasing the competitiveness of the agricultural sector of the EAEU” was held within the framework of the International Technology Forum – Digital Almaty 2025.
The event was attended by Gohar Barseghyan, Member of the Board (Minister) for Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex of the Eurasian Economic Commission, representatives of state bodies of the EAEU countries and international experts.
The session discussed issues of joint action on the digital transformation of the agro-industrial complex, the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies and the creation of an interconnected ecosystem for the sustainable development of agriculture.
Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kenzhekhanuly presented the country's achievements in the field of digitalization of the agro-industrial complex and discussed cooperation within the EAEU noted the prospects for deepening.
According to the Vice Minister, Kazakhstan is actively implementing modern solutions. Among them are systems for accounting for farm animals, automation of subsidy processes, and systems for monitoring crop production.
In addition, special attention was paid to the development and implementation of artificial intelligence technologies. These technologies allow predicting the productivity of farm animals and land yields, as well as automating the process of applying for subsidies. These initiatives are aimed at significantly increasing the efficiency of managing the agro-industrial complex.
The Eurasian Economic Commission supported Kazakhstan's initiatives and noted that the integration of best digital practices is important for the accelerated development of the agro-industrial complex.
