Astana, February 4, 2025 – First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akan Rakhmetullin met with the Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil Marcelo Fortuna Biato.

During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the political and trade and economic spheres, and exchanged views on issues of interaction within multilateral formats.

A. Rakhmetullin noted the active role of Brazilian diplomacy on the international stage this year and wished the success of upcoming events, such as the UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belem and the BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro.

In conclusion, the parties agreed to continue deepening mutually beneficial dialogue at the bilateral and multilateral levels.
