This year, the Makanshi district has received more snow than usual. Despite this, the work of clearing roads of district, regional, and republican significance has not stopped for a moment. The district administration is clearing roads between villages from snow, making it possible for passenger traffic.

“Our district is served by 11 rural districts. Their distances vary. District roads with a total length of 209 kilometers are cleaned by the Makanshi municipal state enterprise, the Abraimov private enterprise, and the Meyrlan private enterprise. Regional roads are cleaned by Semey Roads LLP, and republican roads are cleaned by the regional branch of Kazavtozhol JSC. We are using every opportunity to ensure that communication between villages is not disrupted. In addition, snow removal from roads, sidewalks and public places within the village is carried out systematically,” says Makanchy District Akim Dauren Koygeldin.

Currently, snow removal from roads in the district is being carried out in an intensified manner. 5 loaders, 2 graders, 10 MTZ tractors, 1 Ural, 3 Kamaz, 1 K-700, 1 DT-75 vehicles begin their work as soon as the snow falls. To date, 2,120 cubic meters of snow have been removed in the district.
