Serikkazy Magavyanov, a master of industrial training at the Abay regional electrotechnical college, who has been working tirelessly for 45 years to train qualified specialists, enjoys great prestige among his students and colleagues. A master of his craft and a mentor, he closely connects his life with electrical engineering and makes an invaluable contribution to the development of technical education in the region.
Serikkazy Magavyanov himself is a 1972 graduate of this educational institution. And since 1979, he has been training students as a master of industrial training. Despite his many years of experience, he has mastered modern educational methods in accordance with the requirements. The introduction of modular technologies, the use of interactive methods, and the use of models and stands in practical lessons are among his main principles in teaching. Serikkazy Magavyanov is not limited to teaching, but also participates in methodological consultations, advanced training courses and professional seminars. In his understanding, a teacher should develop together with his students.
He regularly participates in WorldSkills championships and acts as a leading expert. Students under his leadership have won prizes in international, republican and regional professional competitions. His many years of pedagogical work have not gone unnoticed. He has received a number of awards, including the medal "20 Years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (2011), a certificate of honor from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2022), and the medal "Veteran of Labor" (2024).
