The country's leading company in the field of gold mining is the largest taxpayer in the region and employs more than 2,000 Akmola residents. "Altyntau Kokshetau" JSC was established on the basis of the Vasilkov gold deposit discovered in 1963. Since 2006, the deposit has been under the management of "Kazzinc" LLP.
During the visit, the regional head met with Zhanat Zhanbotin, General Director of "Kazzinc" LLP, and Arman Aliyev, General Director of "Altyntau Kokshetau" JSC. The company's managers presented their perspective plans for expanding production and introducing advanced innovative technologies.
Marat Akhmetzhanov noted the importance of the enterprise for the socio-economic development of the region and expressed gratitude for its active social policy.
"The head of state has repeatedly emphasized the importance of the effective use of mineral raw materials and production potential. We support such enterprises, because they are the basis of the development of the region,” the regional governor noted.
Altyntau Kokshetau JSC actively participates in social initiatives. In the city of Kokshetau, the company built the Altyn Bala kindergarten and a tennis center. It also actively participated in the construction of the Nauan Khazret mosque in the city of Kokshetau.
Within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation signed with the region, the enterprise supports the construction of the shore and road of Lake Kopa, the cleaning of the Kylchakty River, and is building a new school for 900 people. In winter, the company helps clear roads of snow and participates in the improvement of settlements in the Zerendy district.
The enterprise uses a cyclic-continuous technology for the processing of gold-containing ore and produces Dore alloy.

Akim of the Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov attended the grand opening of a new medical clinic in the village of Aidabol, Zerendy district. This facility was implemented within the framework of the national pilot project "Modernization of Rural Healthcare".
The construction of the medical clinic began in 2024. The modern institution will provide pre-hospital, primary medical and sanitary and inpatient care. Villagers can get advice from a doctor and midwife at any time. In addition, the clinic provides magnetotherapy, physiotherapy, ultrasound and light therapy, electrocardiography.
"We have an ambulance. Seven qualified specialists serve the population. In total, we provide care for more than 2,600 people, including more than 500 children," said the head of the clinic, Makhabbat Tagiev.
The opening of new medical institutions in rural areas will pave the way for the population to receive high-quality and affordable medical care.
Until now, villagers have been receiving treatment at the old medical and obstetrics station, built at the beginning of the last century. In this regard, a decision was made to build a new, modernly equipped outpatient clinic for the residents of Aidabol.
The opening of a new outpatient clinic is especially important for the elderly, children, and patients with chronic diseases.
“I am very glad that such a modern outpatient clinic has opened in our village. This will allow us to feel safe and confident in the future. Now we will not have to go to the district center,” said village resident Saule Sagadieva.
The local authorities paid special attention to the high-quality construction of the institution and the selection of qualified specialists.
“The Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev pays special attention to improving the quality and accessibility of medical services. The opening of this outpatient clinic is an important step towards the modernization of rural healthcare. Now residents of the village of Aidabol can receive quality medical care without leaving their village. "We believe that this step will contribute to improving the quality of life in the village," said the head of the region, Marat Akhmetzhanov.
In addition, within the framework of the national project "Modernization of Rural Healthcare", 38 primary health care facilities are being gradually put into operation in various settlements of the Akmola region. The development of a network of medical clinics will not only improve the quality of life of rural residents, but also contribute to the sustainable development of the region.
