Since the beginning of the year, 16.7 billion cubic meters of water have been sent to the Caspian Sea through the Ural River.

It is worth noting that the flow of the river is formed depending on the volume of water sent from the Iriklin reservoir in Russia.
"Since the beginning of the year, representatives of the Ministry have held 28 meetings with colleagues from Russia, China and Central Asian countries on transboundary rivers. Negotiations on the regulation of water volumes during the flood period will be held in an enhanced mode," said Moldir Abdualiyeva, official representative of the Ministry of Water Resources and irrigation.
