The III (regional) stage of the Republican Olympiad in general education subjects for students of rural schools was held from October 29 to November 2, 2024 on the basis of school-Lyceum No. 18 named after Saken Zhunusov in Kokshetau.
The purpose of the Olympiad: to create optimal conditions for identifying and maintaining the talents and abilities of schoolchildren in rural areas of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to select the most academically capable students, their further intellectual development and professional orientation.
The Olympiad was attended by 370 students who studied in rural schools over the past two academic years.
The Olympiad was held in 13 general education disciplines. In 6 subjects of natural and mathematical direction: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and geography. In 7 subjects of social and humanitarian direction: Kazakh language and literature, Russian language in schools with Kazakh language of instruction, Russian language and literature, Kazakh language in schools with Russian language of instruction, history of Kazakhstan, fundamentals of Law, English.
The tasks were presented in the form of traditional Olympic tasks.
Within the framework of the Olympiad, students watched the play "exam" at the Kazakh music and drama theater named after Shakhmet Kusainov.
According to the results of the event, 134 Akmola schoolchildren became winners, prize-winners and winners of diplomas: I place – 25, II place – 31, III place – 64, and 14 diplomas.
In total, according to the results of the Olympiad in natural and mathematical disciplines, 37 prize – winners: I Place – 6, II place – 12, III place – 20, diploma-8.
According to the results of the Olympiad in social and humanitarian disciplines, 82 prize – winners: I place – 19, II place – 19, III place – 44, diploma-6.
The winners will represent Akmola region at the Republican Olympiad in general education subjects for students of rural schools.
