Zhenis Bozhaev, a student of the 9th grade of the Y. Altynsarin secondary school of the borodulikha district, has developed a device that studies the possibilities of using solar energy for household needs. With this project, the student intends to reduce dependence on coal, fuel and electricity and reduce the harmful impact on the environment.
During the project, Victory began with the development of a drawing of a solar collector, the selection of parts and the assembly of the unit. He found that through the solar collector it was possible to heat agricultural and domestic buildings and supply water needs. Considering that the need for water in the range of 30-90°C is especially important for agriculture, the student drew attention to the importance of this system in the region.
In the assembly of the Collector, victory used a wooden frame and penoplex heat insulation, creating a hermetic tightness of the system through double glazing. Using a special container as a heat Accumulator, it tested its effectiveness. The Collector device with a volume of 0.33 square meters showed that it can heat up to a temperature of 30°C and store 2,142,000 J of energy throughout the day.
According to the student's calculations, a solar collector covering an area of 23 square meters is enough to heat the average house and provide it with full hot water. Placing such a device on the roof of the house is more efficient and saves space.
