The Department of Public Health told about the measures taken to improve the infrastructure of social facilities in Almaty.
Thus, in August of this year, for the first time in Kazakhstan, an early Intervention Center was established on the basis of interdepartmental interaction to reduce disability among children (up to 3 years old). 2 primary health care centers and 1 polyclinic have been opened, as well as a new building of the Center for Children's Emergency Medical Care.
By the end of 2024, the development of design estimates for the construction of 2 new polyclinics and the modernization of 5 large hospitals will be completed. Construction and installation works will be carried out in 2025-2026.

It should be noted that financing for the modernization of healthcare infrastructure in 2024 was increased 2.5 times to 26.3 billion tenge, in 2025 – by another 2.6 times to 69.4 billion tenge.
