The First Tech Challenge regional robotics championship has ended in Almaty. The team of the Abai Electrical Engineering College "ALASH" set a Kazakhstani record, scoring 161 points, and took 1st place in the National ranking and 18th place in the world ranking.
26 teams took part, among which were representatives of the Almaty region, the Abai region, as well as Kyrgyzstan. In the Design Award Winner and Final Alliance Captain Award nominations, the ALASH team received awards for engineering and alliance leadership.
According to the results of the tournament, the ALASH team entered the world top 4 in qualification games and top 1 in Kazakhstan, proving that the Abai region competes well in the international arena in the field of robotics. The team plans to win a quota for participation in the Central Asian Championship and reach the world level.
