Today, in the city of Zharkent in the Panfilov district of the Zhetisu region, a new school for 1,200 places was commissioned, built within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School", the press service of the akim of the Zhetisu region reports.
The opening ceremony of the first comfortable school in Zhetisu was attended by Deputy akim of the region Dias Esdauletov, veterans of pedagogy, the school staff, students, their parents and the public of the district.
- This is the first such educational center in the region, built on behalf of the President within the framework of the national project "Comfortable School". Panfilov district has the largest number of students in the region. About 1,100 children from 9 schools in the city of Zharkent, where there were a large number of students, were admitted to this school, which is being opened today. I am sure that by gaining knowledge in such a modern school, our youth, being true patriots, will achieve success in all their endeavors, - said D. If there are any flights.

- On behalf of all parents, we thank you for building such a cozy school for our children in our city of Zharkent. My daughter is currently in 11th grade. I think that all conditions are created here for high-quality preparation of children for graduation exams, UNT. The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the opening of the new facility, and then everyone could get acquainted with the internal arrangement of the school.
It is worth noting that the comfortable school is equipped with everything necessary for the successful organization of the educational process with modern equipment. There are 64 classrooms, of which 6 are classrooms of new modifications, including chemistry, physics, biology, robotics, STEAM, nanotechnology, etc. In general, all subject rooms are equipped with the necessary methodological and technical means. Carpentry, sewing and other workshops are also provided. An assembly hall, a library with 2 reading rooms, a dining room with 230 seats, 2 gyms, 1 dance hall. In addition, there are individual cabinets for textbooks, students' clothes, as well as coworking areas for reading books, creative development and recreation of children.
According to the acting director of the school, Aigul Darubayeva, 46 classes are currently open at the school. Children from 9 schools in the city of Zharkent moved with classroom teachers. To date, a competition has been announced for 30 vacancies for teachers and 20 places for technical workers.
- Touch screens are installed in the subject rooms in physics, chemistry, biology and robotics, which makes it possible to access high-speed Internet anywhere in the school. Appropriate conditions have been created for children in need of special education and upbringing. Elementary and high school students study at school in separate blocks. Video surveillance is installed in the building, there is an audio alert and all other means necessary to ensure the safety of children, - says A. Darubaeva.
In general, 5 new schools were built in the Zhetisu region this year. Earlier this academic year, a school for 120 places was introduced in the village of Karatal in the Koksu district, and by the end of the year another new school will open its doors in the village of Koshkental in the Aksu district for 180 places. The remaining 2 schools with 900 places, that is, in Dostyk village of Alakolsky district and Taldy village of Panfilov district, are planned to be introduced in the new academic year 2025.
