In honor of the International Day of Students, the Astana Youth Policy Department organized the annual student festival "Jastar Jalyny-2024", the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
At the opening of today's event, students presented their educational institution.
According to the organizers, the feature of this year's festival is the inclusion of sports nominations.
This festival will be held in the capital from November 5 to November 14. Every day is dedicated to a certain nomination: football, volleyball, table tennis, chess, bandstand, national dance, Modern dance, national instruments (dombra), theater, mobilography. And a gala concert is scheduled for November 14.
In each nomination, the participants who won prizes are provided with financial prizes: 1st place-100 thousand tenge; 2nd place-70 thousand tenge; 3rd place-50 thousand tenge. And the higher educational institution that became the best in the 10 above–mentioned nominations is awarded the main prize - 500,000 tenge.
The JASTAR JALYNY Festival is held with the aim of revealing the creative potential of young people, identifying talented youth, supporting and creating conditions for the creative development of gifted children and teams, developing spiritual and cultural potential, improving the system of aesthetic and ethical education of students, increasing civic, social responsibility, a sense of patriotism, moral values and leadership qualities," - Anel Mansurova, a spokeswoman for the Youth Policy Department, said.
