Excursions are held in Astana in order to determine the future profession of schoolchildren. Students of grades 7-9 of secondary school No. 23 got acquainted with the work of the Yutaria garment factory located in the special economic zone, the official website of the city akimat reports.
During the tour, the students were shown modern sewing production technologies and explained the work process in detail. The students were able to ask questions to the staff, which made the visit even more exciting.
"We saw with our own eyes how overalls are sewn and learned how jackets are given a certain shape. It was very interesting," Diana Didarova, a 9th grade student, shared her impressions.
The purpose of this tour is to familiarize students with relevant professions that are in demand in the labor market, as well as to generate interest in technical specialties.
"We were very happy to meet the guys and show our factory. We are sure that such events will help the younger generation to better determine their choice of profession and make a conscious choice," said the master of the jacket shop Altyn Tashmetova.
It should be noted that from October 1 to December 6, Astana hosts a series of career guidance excursions for students of grades 7-11 and first-year college students, organized by the Department for Investment and Business Development, the ASTANA INVEST Urban Investment Development Center, the Astana Development Center together with the city's Education Department. Within the framework of this project, about 5 thousand schoolchildren and students have already had the opportunity to visit enterprises and educational institutions of the capital, and in total, by the end of the year it is planned to conduct excursions for more than 11 thousand children.
