Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy got acquainted with the progress of work on planting saxaul on an area of 1200 hectares. At the moment, the site has been supplemented with more than 400 thousand saplings of saxaul. Also, 900 hectares of land have been prepared for autumn sowing, on which 6,000 kilograms of saxaul seeds were planted. Experts presented their suggestions and opinions on the expansion of the saxaul massifs.
Darkhan Satybaldy checked the work on the care and addition of trees in the "Green Belt" near the "Small Industrial Park". An additional 250,000 tree seedlings were planted along the road to the airport. To protect the landings from the wind, more than 32 thousand supports have been installed, wires have been stretched and work has been carried out to secure them. In the "Green Belt" zone, work continues on the addition of trees, repair of supports and cleaning of the territory from weeds.
The head of the region gave instructions on high-quality landscaping, landscaping and care of the "Green Belt". He also stressed the need to plant only those types of trees that can grow successfully in local conditions. The work in this direction will be under strict control.
