President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to regulate and effectively use water resources. Within the framework of this assignment, work is actively underway in the Turkestan region.
Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy checked the progress of construction work on the restoration of the reservoir in the Sauran district. Currently, the land is being leveled, the banks are being strengthened and a dam is being built. The head of the region instructed the responsible persons to organize the work systematically and efficiently.
The reservoir, located 20 kilometers from the new airport, has a capacity of 1.3 million m3. It is planned to increase its volume as part of the reconstruction.
Turan Su company has been involved in the restoration of the old reservoir. After the reservoir is put into full operation, the accumulated water will allow watering tree seedlings for 22 kilometers along the road to the new airport throughout the growing season.
