Since the beginning of this year, 561 preschool organizations with 64 thousand places have been opened in the regions of the country, which has allowed to increase the coverage of preschool education and upbringing to 92.5% of the children from 2 to 6 years old standing in line. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan.

The opening of new places is realized through the construction, reconstruction and expansion of existing preschool organizations, expansion of the network of mini-centers, as well as placement of state educational orders in private preschool organizations.

"On behalf of the Head of State, a number of measures are being taken to ensure accessibility and starting opportunities for all children. To increase the coverage of children with preschool education and training, a step-by-step plan for the introduction of new preschool organizations for 2023-2027 was developed. Today, the maximum coverage of children with preschool education and upbringing has been achieved in 13 regions, where the indicator is higher than the republican one. These are the city of Shymkent, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Turkestan, Aktobe regions and others," summed up the director of the Department of preschool education Manara Adamova.

Thus, today there are 11.6 thousand preschool organizations in the country, in which about 1 million children are brought up.
