The first course was held in Astana at the Center of Excellence of the Eurasian Civil Aviation Conference (EACAC) in cooperation with the Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA), the training unit of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan (AAK).
The five-day course on audit methodology and best practices was an important milestone for AAK and CAAS aimed at strengthening aviation audit competencies throughout Central Asia. The event was attended by 30 specialists, including participants from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, who focused on the main audit methods and methodologies to ensure high standards of safety and efficiency.

The course, conducted under the guidance of an experienced instructor Kong Chong Tak from SAA, allowed participants to gain practical skills in evaluating organizational processes and maintaining compliance with international aviation standards.
The participants also had the opportunity to share knowledge and experience, which contributed to strengthening regional cooperation and increasing competence in the field of aviation audit.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to create a skilled workforce capable of meeting the growing needs of the aviation industry in the region.
During the event, Katalin Radu, Director General of AAC, shared his vision of regional cooperation and capacity building in the aviation industry:
"The course represents the first step towards strengthening cooperation and developing critical aviation audit skills in Central Asia. Knowledge sharing is vital to improving safety and efficiency standards in the region, and I am proud to have played my part in bringing this initiative to life. Our commitment to regional cooperation will continue to grow as we work together to strengthen the future of aviation in Central Asia."
Instructor Kong Chong Taka added:
"CAAS is committed to supporting the development of the next generation of aviation professionals and contributing to the expansion of safety oversight capabilities in the Central Asian region. We are glad to have the opportunity to share our experience and benefit from the interaction with the participants. The purpose of this course is to provide participants with valuable information and practical skills, and I hope that they will be able to apply these skills directly to their work, ensuring safer and more efficient aviation activities in their countries."
The success of this pilot program sets a promising precedent for future training initiatives aimed at improving flight safety and developing closer cooperation throughout Central Asia.
