The end of the second quarter is approaching. Winter holidays in Kazakhstani schools will last 10 calendar days – from December 30, 2024 to January 8, 2025 inclusive. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For the effective and safe conduct and personal development of schoolchildren during the winter holidays, an action plan has been developed within the framework of the Birtutas Tarbieh program. School event plans include educational, sports, cultural and creative activities:
• within the framework of the project "Okuga kustar mektep" — an intra-school event "Kysta kitap okimyz, zhadymyzga tokimyz";
• Theater festivals and productions;
• workshops on making Christmas decorations;
• Safety lessons;
• educational excursions to museums, scientific centers and historical monuments;
• sports games, ice skating, skiing;
• charity events and others.
Ensuring the safety of children remains one of the main priorities. In this regard, special attention is paid to the prevention of traffic accidents involving children, compliance with internal regulations in schools, security measures on the street, fire safety at home and cybersecurity.
It should be noted that these activities are sent to educational organizations as methodological recommendations.
