The Altai Zhuldyz Republican swimming tournament has ended in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The competition was attended by 15 teams and 315 athletes from all over Kazakhstan, who competed for the victory. There were 196 boys and 119 girls among the participants.
The Turkestan region was represented at this prestigious tournament by Daria Toktobayeva, who showed excellent results. She has 4 gold and 2 silver medals on her account. She became the champion in the 100, 200 and 400 meters freestyle, as well as in the 200 meters breaststroke and in the combined swimming she won silver. Daria is a pupil of the specialized children's and youth sports school of the Olympic reserve in water sports of the Turkestan region.
