The Department of Emergency Situations of the Karagandy Region urges to monitor weather changes and be careful. Residents should take the following safety measures during strong winds:

‼️do not overload the electrical network;
‼️stay inside the building if possible;
‼️keep children under special supervision and do not leave them unattended;
‼️if you encounter a strong wind outside, take shelter on the nearby porch or shop;
‼️do not approach the walls of houses during strong winds, because slates and other roof materials may fall from the roof;
‼️do not hide at public transport stops, under advertising boards, under trees, under unfinished buildings;
‼️standing under power lines during strong winds and approaching broken power lines can be fatal;
‼️it is recommended to park your private vehicle at a safe distance from trees;
✅ Be careful and do not forget the unique telephone number of the rescue service - "112".
