On the eve of the Independence Day, the Republican aitys of poets "Altyn dombra" was held. This year "Torlet, man of Labor!"aitys organized on the theme "" is dedicated to the hardworking people."
Within the framework of the event, poets who made a special contribution to the development of the art of aitys of our region were awarded. For many years of work and contribution to the development of aitys, the poet, teacher Dametken Omarbayeva was awarded the Medal "Enbek Ardageri".
In addition, the poet, teacher, chairman of the Abay regional branch of the International Union of aitys and zhyrshi-Terme poets Daulet Smetov received the medal "Madeniyet salasyn uzdigi".
