The issues of prevention of offenses among young people and domestic violence were considered at a meeting of the interdepartmental commission. The event was chaired by Akim of the region Askhat Shakharov.
In turn, the head of the Department for Youth Policy of the Aktobe region, Mirkhan Ermaganbetov, spoke about the ongoing work with youth. Thus, the department organizes various raids, legal hours, sports competitions, meetings with the participation of young people. Since the beginning of the year, 682 events have been held with the participation of 120,818 young people. As part of the implementation of the "Jastarga - kenes" projects, meetings on the topic "Generation and national values" were organized in educational institutions, within the framework of the projects "ESIRTKIGE JOL JOQ", "TAZA ORTA!", "ALAYAQ.NET "raids are being carried out to destroy ads related to the sale of drugs. Within the framework of the "Law and Order" and "16 Days against Violence" campaigns, meetings with police officers are organized in educational institutions to improve the legal literacy of young people.
According to Ardana Saimagambetov, First Deputy head of the Aktobe region Police Department, special attention should be paid to social support for low-income families. It is also necessary to strengthen preventive work with young people and parental control.
After listening to the speakers, the head of the region instructed to intensify the work of mobile groups to help families in difficult situations, inform the population about the rights of women and children, resolve the issue of opening family support centers in the districts, consider financing a project on family values and gender equality in 2025.
Askhat Shakharov also instructed to strengthen work on the prevention of crime and drug addiction among young people.
"We must pay special attention to informing young people about their rights and responsibilities, as well as involving them in sections, clubs and sports events. Unorganized free time is a risk that we must minimize. I instruct the Departments of Health, Education and Sports to work out the issue of increasing funding for measures aimed at preventing drug addiction. This work needs to be strengthened, since the health of young people is a key factor in the future of our society. For the safety of the population in public places, as part of the Digital Kazakhstan program, it is necessary to install video surveillance cameras with face recognition function in public places and courtyards of residential buildings. This will increase the safety of our citizens," the mayor stressed the importance of the tasks set.
