Deputy Akim of Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kosherov met with the director of the Turkish company KAR-TEM Ismail Sonmez. At the meeting, the parties discussed the project of opening a new enterprise for the production of pellets for melting ice on the territory of the Industrial Park of the region.
KAR-TEM produces granules based on a high-quality hybrid crystal enriched with calcium and magnesium chlorides. These pellets are able to effectively melt ice at extremely low temperatures — from -30°C to -40°C. The products are environmentally friendly, cost-effective and allow you to quickly and safely clean roads, squares, footpaths and other infrastructure in winter.
The total investment in the project will amount to 5 million US dollars. The opening of the new enterprise is planned for 2025, which will create about 300 new jobs.
