Aidarbek Saparov instructed NANOC to strengthen its work to solve problems related to the shortage of personnel

Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov held a meeting on the development of agricultural science, training of personnel for the agro-industrial complex. The event was attended by the management and staff of the National Agrarian Scientific and Educational Center.
The issues of fulfilling the instructions of the Head of State on the transformation of agricultural science, the creation of the Institute of horse breeding were considered, the results of the activities of the subsidiaries of NANOC were summed up.
Aigul Akhmedzhanova, Chairman of the Board of NANOC, reported on the results of the work of subsidiaries, research activities, and personnel training for the agro-industrial complex.
The Minister focused on strengthening work in all areas.
One of the key issues was the shortage of personnel in the agricultural sector.
Currently, there are three universities in the structure of the NANOC. In 2023, agricultural universities graduated 5,198 specialists, only 38.5% of them were employed.
Aidarbek Saparov stressed the need to strengthen efforts to attract personnel to the agricultural sector, create attractive conditions for their work in villages.
Following the meeting, the Minister gave specific instructions, including a complete inventory of the lands of subsidiaries, preparation for the next year's sowing campaign and ensuring high-quality implementation of scientific and technical programs within the framework of program-targeted financing.
It should be recalled that NANOC is a single operator of interaction between scientific and educational institutions of the agricultural sector with the state and business, its structure includes 3 universities, 11 research institutes and 17 agricultural and agricultural enterprises, as well as 2 service companies.
