In 2024, the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan again confirmed their high professional readiness and dedication. In different regions of the country, rescuers who are actively involved in the implementation of the state youth policy and who have shown exceptional bravery and dedication have been awarded prestigious awards.
In the East Kazakhstan region, civil protection sergeant Duman Kenzhebekov, a senior firefighter and rescuer of the Emergency Department No. 28 of the city of Shemonaiha, won in the nomination "Hero of the Year". His list of achievements includes participation in numerous rescue operations. On October 1, a fire broke out on the third floor of a multi-storey building in the village of Ust-Talovka. Duman, along with the guard, managed to evacuate 10 people, including 6 children.
In the Abai region, Captain of civil protection Yerasyl Kadirbekov became the winner of the Zhyl Tandauy–2024 award in the nomination "Young Hero of the Year". He has done a great job in organizing information campaigns to ensure fire safety. Through his actions, Yerasyl has increased public awareness of precautions and responsibility, which is especially important in the high-risk season.
In Zhambyl region, in the youth award of the mayor of the city "TARAZ AWARDS", the award "The best young employee of the emergency service" was received by the chief of the fire department No. 3 of the city of Taraz, Major of civil protection Bostanbai Abdullayev. His achievements are also marked by high professional training and significant contribution to the development of the service.
Mangystau region also celebrated its heroes. In the nomination "Uzdik zhas kutkarushi", the deputy head of the HRC No. 2 of Aktau, captain of civil protection Azamat Sadakbayev, was awarded. His courage was shown during the liquidation of a fire in a multi-storey apartment building, where he saved a man who found himself in a dangerous situation. Senior firefighter-rescuer of the HRC No. 1 of Aktau city, sergeant of civil protection Zhaksybek Saktapov stood out in the nomination "Uzdik Zhas ort sondirushi" for heroism in eliminating a fire at a service station, where together with colleagues he carried out and prevented the explosion of 18 gas cylinders. In the nomination "Uzdik totenshe jagdai kyzmetkeri", the award was received by the deputy head of the military district No. 5 of the Munaili district, captain of civil protection - Muslim Khudaibergen, who showed courage and professionalism while participating in emergency rescue operations.
The best young employees of the department were awarded diplomas and monetary certificates, which became a well-deserved recognition of their heroism and professionalism. These awards are not only a recognition of their achievements, but also an inspiration for future generations of rescuers who continue to guard the safety of citizens.
