A press tour was held in the Alatau district, during which media representatives got acquainted with the key facilities implemented this year. Akim of the district Talgat Malybayev and the project participants spoke in detail about the achievements that the district can be proud of.
The first object of the press tour was the landscaping of the park in the Karasu microdistrict. The project, implemented in 2023-2024, covers an area of 11 hectares. On behalf of the akim of the district Talgat Malybayev, a modern automatic watering system was installed. According to the project, small architectural forms (MAFS), benches, urns and an original pergola of individual manufacture are placed. In addition, green spaces have been planted here, which significantly improves the appearance and atmosphere of the neighborhood.
Another important project is the construction of water supply and sewerage distribution networks in the Algabas microdistrict. In 2024, the construction of water supply systems with a length of 47.5 km was completed, which provided centralized water supply to 585 residential buildings, which is more than 4 thousand residents. The project was under the personal control of the Mayor of Almaty, Yerbolat Dosayev, and became an important step in improving the quality of life of local residents by providing them with access to necessary public services.
The press tour also included a visit to the recently opened sports and wellness center in the Zerdeli microdistrict, which has become one of the clearest examples of the development of sports infrastructure in the area. This center accepts up to 400 children daily, providing them with modern conditions for sports activities. The complex includes a sports hall, a gym, a boxing hall, a choreography hall, as well as a board game room. In the implementation of the project, Talgat Malybayev demanded special attention to the creation of comfortable conditions for people with limited mobility, including the availability of adapted dressing rooms and shower rooms.
Since its foundation, Alatau district has attached special importance to the development of road infrastructure and improvement of public transport. In 2024, an average repair of roads was carried out on 72 streets of the district with a total length of 53.7 km. A pit repair was also carried out on an area of 30 thousand square meters. In addition, the construction of new roads with a total length of 0.55 km and average repairs on 10 streets with a total length of 3.9 km has been completed this year. These works have significantly improved the transport accessibility of the areas and increased road safety.
The Budget of People's Participation program continues to demonstrate its effectiveness in creating modern and comfortable public spaces for residents of the Alatau district.
