On the eve of the Independence Day of Kazakhstan, public and cultural figures who make an invaluable contribution to the development of the country congratulated our people on the great holiday and expressed their heartfelt words. Bayangali Alimzhanov and Burkitbay Ayagan, who have made significant contributions to the field of culture and history, spoke about the dignity of Independence, the official website of the capital's mayor's office reports.
Bayangali Alimzhanov, widely known as a poet, playwright, writer, aitys poet, zhyrsh-zhyrau, manasshi, has also done a lot as a film director, screenwriter, actor, researcher of literature and art, critic, satirist, filmocumentalist and TV presenter.

"We, as citizens and patriots of this state, must contribute as much as possible to the preservation, strengthening and further development of this Independence. Each of us should work well in our field and call our country to unity. In other matters, our views, opinions may differ, but when it comes to the concept of independence, we must remain united. After all, this is the trust of our ancestors," Bayangali Alimzhanov said.
He congratulated all our people on the Independence Day of Kazakhstan and wished peace and prosperity to our country.
Also, historian, doctor of historical sciences, professor, member of the National Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, academician of the Kazakh Academy of Education Burkitbay Ayagan congratulated all Kazakhstanis on the holiday and told about the Sacred Path of our independence.
"Independence is a very sacred holiday for me. This is due to the fact that our Kazakh country, the country of Alash, has gone through many difficulties and won many victories. Once Upon a time, our ancestors ruled the center of Eurasia. Independence Day seems to me an invaluable and great holiday. Because millions of Kazakhs dreamed of independence. We must preserve this state, independence, like the apple of our eyes. Despite some difficulties, we should not criticize our state, but make efforts to develop it as a secular, democratic, advanced state," Burkitbay Ayagan said.
