A new challenge was launched in Astana as a sign of gratitude to the employees of public utilities. Famous athletes supported him, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
Famous athletes of the capital joined the challenge and decided to support the employees of public utilities who, in difficult conditions, carry out snow removal work during the day and at night.
This morning, the athletes gathered in the Park of Lovers in order to distribute hot tea and baursaks to those who work on a daily basis for the benefit of our capital.
"Today we have a really good morning, because we gathered with athletes and guys from the creative field and decided to please those who make our city cleaner and better," said Didar Sydykbek, founder of the SD Family football club.
In addition to treats, the athletes provided practical assistance by taking part in snow removal. This event demonstrated unity and mutual respect among the citizens of the capital, who came out early in the morning to support the employees of public utilities.
"The cleanliness of our city is a great work of public utilities workers. In order to express our gratitude, we gathered with colleagues from sports and decided to please the employees with hot tea and baursaks," said the world champion among young men in weightlifting, Yedige Emberdi.
The initiative was also supported by such athletes as Ulzhan Rakisheva, Bigali Zkriyaev, Yerbolat Bekbolatov, Sayan Zhandildin and Dzhambulat Ibragimov.
In the future, the campaign will cover all areas of the city and will be held on a monthly basis.
