Astana hosted the next Sogym FEST, which was attended by farmers of Akmola, Abai and Pavlodar regions, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
The Soggy FEST was held in the parking lot of the Koktal shopping center, organized by the Department for Investment and Business Development.
The products of local farmers and producers from Akmola, Pavlodar, Abai and East Kazakhstan regions are presented here.
"Together with the Koktal shopping center, we are organizing the Sogym Fest festival. It has been going on for the second week. The agricultural fair has been held for six weeks. Today, 30 farmers are taking part in the fair. More than a hundred tons of meat were imported. And the products offered are 15-20% cheaper than the market price," said Nurdaulet Kosman, chief specialist of the Food Security Department of the Department for Investment and Business Development.
According to the organizers, the holding of the agricultural fair and the Sogym Fest festival is an excellent opportunity for local producers to communicate directly with consumers.
Such events contribute to the development of local entrepreneurship and the preservation of Kazakh traditions.
