Over the past day, rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have rescued and evacuated 35 people

Due to difficult weather conditions, the Ministry of Emergency Situations units are working in an enhanced mode. Rescuers respond around the clock and promptly to all emergencies in the country.
During the day, the Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued and evacuated 35 people, including 7 children. 34 fires and gorenje cases were extinguished, 98 rescue and search operations were carried out.
Due to the deterioration of weather conditions, traffic restrictions were introduced on highways of national and regional significance for all types of vehicles.
In Aktobe region, 12 people were rescued and evacuated from snowdrifts by the forces of emergency situations, 4 of them children who were taken to a safe place.
Emergency rescue and search and rescue operations in 7 regions of the region have been successfully completed.
The Command Center for Strategic Planning and Operational Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan has opened a hotline number 8 (7172) 70-41-14, where 16 informational calls were received per day.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds: in order to avoid an emergency situation, it is necessary, first of all, to constantly monitor weather changes, meteorological reports, special messages about worsening weather conditions, road closures, and storm warnings.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations strongly recommends not to travel long distances during the period of storm warnings, and to refrain from hiking long distances. To avoid fires, keep an eye on the serviceability of heating systems, electrical equipment, do not over-heat the furnaces and do not overload the electrical system by simultaneously turning on high-power appliances.
