Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azamat Eskarayev met with Secretary General of The Hague Conference on Private International Law Christophe Bernasconi.
Azamat Eskarayev informed about the activities of the Ministry, and also noted the importance of further fruitful cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Hague Conference on Private International Law.
The parties discussed the possibility of Kazakhstan's accession to two Hague Conventions: the Convention on Agreements on the Choice of Courts of June 30, 2005 and the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil or Commercial Matters of July 2, 2019.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on further cooperation within the framework of the Hague Conferences.
