The XVII session of the regional maslikhat took place yesterday, featuring the involvement of regional akim Nurlybek Nalibaev.
Opening the work of session, the akim of the region presented the results of the past year. The area is concluding with favorable signs. Deputy corps were formed, in which representatives of various fields were included, who are ready to serve their country. This year, the 30th anniversary of the maslikhats was celebrated at the highest level. Representing the interests of their voters, deputies of the region raised various issues and initiatives and contributed to solving problems that worry the population.
- I am certain , that in the future people's representatives will direct their effort to the further development, for prosperity of the native land, and will be connector of government and the people, said N.Nalibaev.
Then the regional akim briefly discussed the achievements in the socio-economic development of the region. It was noted that the region ranks first in the republic in all key macroeconomic indicators. According to the results of 11 months of 2024, the growth of industrial production volumes was 0.8%, manufacturing industry 20.6%, agriculture 3%, housing construction 15.3%, construction 57.5%, and transport 3.3%. Investments totaling KZT 559 billion were attracted to fixed assets, marking an increase of 20.6%. The head of the region particularly highlighted efforts to attract foreign investment and advanced technologies. For this purpose, the regional akim recently traveled to Italy, Spain, and Turkey with representatives of business structures. With the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassies of Kazakhstan, the Kyzylorda delegation held important meetings in these countries, during which they exchanged experiences and signed cooperation agreements with leading companies. As the head of the region stated, efforts to attract investment will continue in the future.
This year, a good harvest of rice was collected - about half a million tonnes, with an average yield of 58 cents. In total, different types of crops were grown on an area exceeding 189,000 hectares. Projects aimed at improving people's quality of life are being actively implemented, including those related to road infrastructure, clean drinking water supply, gas supply and housing.
On the instructions of the Head of State, large-scale projects have been planned to be implemented in the region to reduce electricity deficits in the southern parts of the country.The heating season is proceeding normally this year. KZT 1.2 billion were allocated from different sources of funding to reconstruct heat supply facilities and networks. At the session, N. Nalibaev focused on regional budgets for 2025-2027, and changes of Kyzylorda development plan for 2021-2035.
The regional budget for this year was approved at KZT 605 trillion. By the end of this year, it will reach KZT 750 trillion as the regional akim assured. The budget for next year is expected to be no less.
To increase socio-economic development and improve the well-being of the population, 27 indicators will be included in the Regional Development Plan.The chairman of the local maslikhat, Murat Tleubetov, reported on the progress made. The work plan for the regional maslihat for 2025 has been approved. A total of 15 items were submitted to this session of the maslikhat. They concern amendments to several decisions of the Maslihat.
Changes have also been made to the membership of the regional coordination council, expert council for entrepreneurship, special commission to consider issues related to inclusion of individual and legal entities (except large businesses) in the social entrepreneurship register, and others.
All issues raised during the session have been discussed at previous sessions of standing committees on environment, production, economy and entrepreneurship.
