Large-scale works on the improvement of the city were carried out in Astana. Comfortable recreation areas have been created for everyone, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
This year, about 170 courtyards and public spaces have been landscaped. All this is done to create a comfortable urban environment for the residents of the city. There are more points of attraction in the city – places where residents and visitors of the city spend their leisure time.
Comprehensive work is carried out on the principle of polycentricity, so that there are squares, public spaces, and parks in every district of the city.
For example, 60 courtyards and 13 public spaces have been landscaped in the Baikonur district, 8 of them are located on the site of vacant lots, and complex landscaping works have been carried out in five of them.
Previously empty plots turned into a landscaped area: green spaces were planted, outdoor furniture and lighting were installed, creating a cozy place for citizens to relax. In the process of landscaping, special attention is also paid to the outskirts of the city.
On the site of vacant lots located on the territory adjacent to the house on S. Toraighyrov str., 2, at the intersection of Tolstoy-Abyraly streets, in the residential area "Ondiris" on Kurmangazy Street, in the suburban area "Koyandy", in the residential area "Kirpichny" on Koksengir Street, in the residential area "Kazgorodok" on Karakum Street New public spaces have appeared in the village of Neftyanikov along Al-Farabi Street, in the Ondiris residential area along Tayburyl Street. There are quiet recreation areas, playgrounds for children of different ages, and sports areas, which creates comfortable conditions for all residents.
All districts of Astana are covered by repair and restoration works. Next year, it is also planned to carry out large-scale works on the improvement of courtyards and public spaces (squares, boulevards, parks).
