Shakhtinskaya CHPP is preparing to celebrate its 60th anniversary. This year, extensive work has been carried out to prepare the energy source for the heating season.
Major repairs covered the main and auxiliary equipment. Much attention has been paid to boiler installations, on which the quality of the heat supplied to the city depends.
Akim of Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev visited the Shakhtinsk thermal power plant. The head of the region was informed that the heating season is proceeding normally. We also discussed the work plan for the future.
– There are currently two boilers and two turbines in operation, as well as four main boilers. All equipment is operating normally. The temperature parameters are observed. There are no problems," informed Abylai Seyduali, Technical Director of Shakhtinskteploenergo LLP.
The station has a standard fuel reserve. This season, the supplier has been changed: coal comes from the Molodezhny mine.
New equipment was purchased for the needs of the station: a bulldozer, mini-loaders, a car for heating networks, etc.
The heat supply pipes were also prepared for the winter. This summer, more than 4 km of networks were replaced in Shakhtinsk. We started restoring thermal insulation. Mayor of the city Murat Kydyrganbekov said that about 4 km of pipes have already been insulated, and another kilometer will be completed by the end of the year. There are plans to continue work on thermal insulation next year.
Ermaganbet Bulekpayev noted that the preparatory work is showing its results. He instructed not to slow down the pace next year in order to provide residents with stable, high-quality heat supply. It is necessary to start preparing for the next repair campaign in a timely manner, the governor of the region emphasized.
The head of the region was also informed about the passage of the heating season in the village of Shahan.
