A hotel, a restaurant, sports and playgrounds have been built for the convenience of tourists.To organize recreation away from the daily hustle and bustle, a recreation center "Shanyrak" is being built in the Denisovsky district. The recreation center is located on a section of the Tobol River within the Verkhne-Tobolsk reservoir. On October 17, 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Beibut Atamkulov met with the Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov.During the talks, held on the eve of upcoming top- and high-level events, the parties discussed the implementation of the provisions of the Roadmap between the Governments of the two countries to fulfill the instructions given following the state visit of Sh. Mirziyoyev to Kazakhstan in August 2024.Particular attention was given to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the agricultural sector, including joint projects in crop production and animal husbandry – specifically, in cattle breeding and the deep processing of agricultural products. The parties emphasized the importance of introducing innovative technologies, exchanging best practices, and strengthening trade and economic relations in agriculture.For reference: In January-August 2025, bilateral trade in agricultural products increased by 27.6%, reaching USD 1.3 billion. Kazakhstan’s key export commodities include grain, flour, meat, and sugar, the demand for which continues to grow. Kazakhstan remains one of the top three importers of fruit and vegetable products from Uzbekistan.Ambassador B.
