On September 8, 2025, a meeting was held in Islamabad between the Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Shakkaliyev and the Federal Minister of Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Jam Kamal Khan.During the talks, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan, as well as preparations for the upcoming official visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Islamabad in November this year.According to the results of 7 months of 2025, the volume of mutual trade between Kazakhstan and Pakistan amounted to $ 89.6 million, which is 2.5 times higher than the same period last year (US $ 36.3 million).
